Plan B for Saturday evening is looking like a hog roast in the park at Kyre. Planning is under way. Details to follow. There could be no more idyllic setting! The lunchtime picnics are also being organized, so we won't go hungry over the weekend!

The new Rally web page is now live at https://www.vintageminor.co.uk/Summerra ... _2025.html

Included is a link to the live entry list which is updates as entries arrive. The direct link to the downloadable spreadsheet can be found at https://www.vintageminor.co.uk/Summerra ... 0List.xlsx. Filter Column A and select MMM for the MMM entry. If you have a 1 in Column J but not in Column K, this means that you expressed an interest in the Sunday hill climb, your interest has been noted and you are now invited to enter.

A great weekend is shaping up.

Update on the Sunday Hill Climb.

There was a Bromyard Speed Festival Director's meeting last week and the following can be reported.

After the meeting and a number of site visits it has been determined that there will be sufficient space available for us to gather in our own area and to offer supporting clubs and registers the opportunity to park together, just as we did at Pre-War Prescott.

The next bit of good news is that there will be sufficient space for those climbing the hill to have their own allocated slot in the waiting area, so climbers will be able to park in their slot to take their climbs and then park with their club friends in the display area as they wish, once they have completed their climbs. Each car that is climbing will be allocated a number for the day and cars will be released to the hill in number/row order from the waiting area. All we have to ensure is that our cars are in their allocated slots in the waiting area in time for their climbs. That will all be clarified in the Final Instructions, which will include your climb number.

And now even more good news. There is a very good chance that there will be surplus climbs on the day, so additional climbs will very probably be available to us.

Now to entries. As mentioned before, we have been allocated 100 climbs. I received 105 declarations of interest in climbing the hill and I accepted all of them. To date I have received 46 entries with payment. If you received an invitation to climb and have not yet responded, please either do so, or let me know that you don’t want to climb. And if you have not yet declared an interest but would like to enter, please feel free to do so, using the form below. There is an excellent chance that your declaration will be accepted.

The Bromyard Hill Climb - Sunday 27th July - to which the VMR has been invited and which will conclude the Vintage Minor Register's three day Pre-War Kyre Park Silver Jubilee Summer Rally is being organized jointly with Bromyard Speed Festival (BSF) and the closing date for the hill climb entries has been set by BSF for MONDAY 12TH MAY - just 19 days from today.

We have been allocated 100 slots on the day by BSF. We had 104 declarations of interest and as of this morning, we have received 59 entries, so we need to fill 41 more slots in the next couple of weeks or so. If we do not, then we risk being offered fewer slots next year, which is likely to be a bigger and even better event.

I attended the latest Bromyard Speed Festival directors' meeting last night where some of the exciting features of the day were discussed. Planning is still in progress so I can't share much detail here, other than to say that this inaugural running of the closed road hill climb will simply be unmissable with a number of truly historic cars on display and in action on the hill. Around 5,000 spectators are expected.

If you would like to enter and have not yet done so, please do so at your EARLIEST CONVENIENCE and also reply to this post so that I can keep an eye out for your incoming form.

The Entry Form, which includes the entire weekend's activities, can be downloaded at: https://www.vintageminor.co.uk/Summerra ... 20Form.pdf

The website for the weekend can be found at: https://www.vintageminor.co.uk/Summerra ... _2025.html

The Order Form for the Saturday lunchtime Vintage Picnic at Kyre Park can be downloaded at: https://www.vintageminor.co.uk/Summerra ... 20Form.pdf

The Order Form for the Saturday Evening VMR Silver Jubilee Hog Roast at Kyre Park can be downloaded at: https://www.vintageminor.co.uk/Summerra ... 20Form.pdf

Remember also, if you do not wish to climb the hill, you will be able to spectate (GBP 10 per person on the gate).

You can enter any or all of the three days of our Summer Rally weekend, and there is NO closing date for the Friday or Saturday activities - just the Sunday hill climb.

All the latest details of the weekend and the hill climb will be found in our May Newsletter, due out 1st May, which everyone should read if entering the hill climb, but for now, let's get those entries in!

If you have any questions regarding the hill climb in particular or the weekend in general, please simply reply to this post and I'll be very happy to help you.
