If anybody gets the chance to look at the excellent book by David Venables on Brooklands (The Official Centenary History), there is a photo of a fabric saloon (RX 6119) lined up with a number of MG's and Austin Sevens waiting for the start of the High Speed (!) Trial at the MCC meeting on 27 September 1930.In the interests of performance (or perhaps regulations?) the front bumper has been removed. Next to it is MG M type (MG 1930) which is pictured behind "Minoru" in one of the photos earlier in this thread.
