I have been offered a pair of front seats from a 1933-1934 Minor saloon, can any one tell me if they are the same as the ohc seats? They are tucked at the back of the chaps loft and so pictures can't be sent without huge effort so rather than mess him about I thought I would ask on here if anyone knew or had some pictures of thier seats I could look at to compare styles and shape.
Many thanks
Jeremy

Not sure. Didn't the SV seats act on sliders? The OHC were bolted to the floor. Anyway, worth liberating, surely.
Re: 1933-1934 Front seats
I'd have thought any old seats were worth saving, surely hard to source? My 33 model saloon has a sliding drivers seat and a fixed but hinged passengers seat. Don't know if these are correct though! I believe Triumph spitfire sliding mechanisms fit 8s quite well.
if it's got wheels or chips - it'll cost you dear
Re: 1933-1934 Front seats
I want them for my MG but could do with a picture before I take the plunge. If they are no good for my needs I will of course pass on other interested parties emails to the vendor.
Toby could you post a picture of your seats or email which ever is easier?
cheers

Jeremy, here goes, photobucket is being problematical (for me!) so they may be v.big!!! Any good?

Don't know if they're correct! Perhaps Ian should start archiving all the forum photos when we know they're bang on for model and year as a vmr online reference library? As if he doesn't have enough to do!!!
