Re: NV 2803 - 1933 McEvoy Special

Another quick update, now that the car is repatriated to England! It is now sitting in a container in the village, waiting for us to move to our forever home in the next few months. In the meantime, I have collected the restored radiator from H&L Radiators in Ludlow who did a fantastic job. They...

Re: Inaugural Monthly Evening Pre-War Car Pub Meet 3rd September

So the next Fountain meet will take place Tuesday 15th October and we plan to keep the date to the third Tuesday in the month going forward. This will compliment the nearby first Tuesday evenings at the Boot, Orleton. I plan to attend both in the fabric saloon.

Basically, you adjust the geometry of the rocker fingers to adjust the gap between the finger's working surface and the end of the valve stem. You do this by adjusting the rotary orientation of the eccentric bronze bush that moun...

Incidentally, I've seen these GPS apps - could you point me to the one you have as I'd like to install it on my phone.

Re: The VMR Magazine

M 190 is finally being posted out today! There was a delay in sorting out the address labels, which I print on US standard 8.5" x 11" label stock. Attempts to convert the templated address sheets to A4 label stock failed miserably, so I ordered up some more 8.5" x 11" label stock...

Re: VSCC Madresfield, Sunday 15th September

Thanks, Jonathan - much appreciated.

If you can start a thread on your Scotland trip, that would be great, or just send me some updates and pics and I can upload. What is the general plan?

Re: VSCC Madresfield, Sunday 15th September

Damn, am missing Madresfield today. Got food poisoning and was up half the night. Very disappointed as this was going to be my first VSCC event to about 25 years!

See you there. I'm planning to be there at 9 for scrutineering. Just fitted my shiny new 1.75 litre fire extinguisher!

Clive will also be there, entered his tourer.

Just back from the Lakes and a fabulous weekend with stunning weather and about 150 miles exploring the fells and dales - not to mention some incredible pubs. Full report coming in the autumn mag. If you weren't there, you missed a true gem of a weekend. http://www.vintageminor.co.uk/Forumpix/Lakes ...
