Wanted - Minor throttle pedal, kingpins and front wing stay

Mine is missing from the McEvoy. I have the complete throttle cross-shaft assembly and throttle pedal clamp that fits in the end of the pedal lever casting. I'm just mising the actual pedal.

Also, does anyone have any new pulley-type kingpins?

I'm also looking for a standard Minor near-side front wing support bracket. Mine got badly mangled somehow during shipping of the car from the UK.

Thanks in advance. :D

If it is just the pedal that is missing how about using a large valve from a commercial vehicle with the correct size shaft(latteral thinking) :D

I think I may have a wing stay from the OHC Minor that was fished out of the Wey & Arun Canal. I will have a look and if I have one it can go in the Auction in the 2013 PreWar Prescott !!

Thanks Simon - good idea to auction it in a good cause!

Hi Toby,

Are they SV pulley pins?

If so I'll buy them!

No! although marked morris minor 1931-1933 they are the ones with the pulley opposite to sv, see discussion on brians king pins from a few months ago!

Toby,

So if they have the cotter slot the same side as the pulley pin offset, I'd like them!

(While I'm on this topic, there is a small clarification to the kingpin article in M142 that I'm putting in M 143 Technical Topics. The article mentions that if the wrong pins are used on the OHC Minor, then the shackled pulley fouls the axle beam. Of course it is not the axle beam the pulley wheel fouls - it is the drop arm.)

NO! They are opposite to the post... I'm surprised I haven't sold them as back in the summer they were unobtainable!

I believe they are still unobtainable! Ian Harris is talking about having some made, but he is out of stock too right now.

Maybe everyone is fitting Bowdens or converting to hydraulics these days?
