Come and enjoy a fantastic weekend of rallying, touring and socializing among old friends and new in the glorious Cotswolds! As this is our Register's Silver Jubilee year, we will be taking a trip down memory lane, visiting many of the very best locations that we have visited on our Cotswolds rallies since 2003.
Entry to all
of the weekend's activities is open to all veteran, Edwardian, vintage
and pre-war cars, plus some 'square-rigged'
post-war cars,
such as M.G. TD, TF, Morgan, Alvis TA21, Triumph Roadster, etc. If
in doubt, please
contact the VMR.

The Itinerary
Friday Evening
On Friday evening, we will hold an informal weekend pub reception at The Gardners Arms in Alderton (OS 150 999334), where we have enjoyed many good evenings over the years.

The Saturday Tour
We will kick off the weekend by enjoying a relaxed day of touring and socializing, starting at Ye Olde Hobnails Inn, Little Washbourne (OS 150 991332), where optional breakfasts and refreshments will be available for us. The route will take in many of the very best locations that we have visited over the years, climbing the Cotswolds escarpment to Snowshill and Broadway Tower, to lunch at the splendid Victorian Hook Norton brewery, as we did in 2019.
In the afternoon we will amble back to The Plough Inn, Ford (OS 163 088292), where many of our early rallies concluded. If you would like to book a table for dinner, please call 01386/584215.
Every entrant will receive a complementary Tour Handbook at the start, providing explicit route details and informative background information relating to the places of interest that we will be visiting along the route.
Sunday
The Cotswolds Navigation Rally and Scenic Tour
The Navigation Rally and parallel Scenic Tour will also start with optional breakfast and refreshments at to plot the route., Little Washbourne.
Entrants may elect to compete in the Navigation Rally or simply take
a relaxing Scenic Tour of approximately 60 miles,
wending its way
down hidden byways, through sleepy hamlets and visiting a number of places of
interest, ranging from the grand to the quaint and quirky. The Navigation
Rallyists will be provided with their clue cards and answer cards at the start
and will need OS Landranger maps 149, 150 and 163 in order to plot the route.
Meanwhile, the Scenic Tourists will
be provided with an informative Tour Handbook which will contain explicit and
easy-to-follow route directions
as well as a wealth of informative
information describing the various points of interest along the route.
At lunchtime, we will hold a Vintage Picnic on the lawns of the magnificent Colesbourne Park, as we did in 2022 and we will conclude the day at Stanway House where there will be cream teas, results, awards and a private demonstration of the magnificent Stanway 300 ft gravity fountain.

Accommodation
If you are planning to attend, be sure to book your accommodation at your earliest convenience.
At 1,024 feet AMSL, Broadway Tower, at the summit of the Cotswolds, looks out over the escarpment to sixteen counties. It was the brainchild of the great 18th Century landscape gardener 'Capability' Brown. We will be visiting the Tower on Sunday.
