Vintage Minor Register

I have been using straight 140, but David Hinds, who is no mean engineer, highly recommends this synthetic oil:

He tells me the MMM J2 racing boys swear by it. Apparently it makes for much smoother and quicker gear changes, which has to be good.

Yesterday's chat about transmission oil has just lead me to do an oil change on the gearbox. I'll take the lil Morris for a run later this evening and report back. Hopefully find a change from 90 grade to the correct 140 will improve the gear change... and the racket coming from 1st and 2nd gears
