SV dynamo mystery

I'm in the process of sorting my dynamo and charging arrangement for my McEvoy. Unlike other SV Minors, my C45E dynamo has no TFR1 resistance unit mounted on it. Instead it has a circular resistance unit, performing the same function, mounted on the firewall. The date stamped on the dynamo is 233 - or February 1933 which seems to align with my chassis being laid down in May of that year, so I suspect that this dynamo is original to the car.
Has anyone else found a SV Minor with this arrangement?
