Evidently not. This morning I received the final entry lists from Stewart Rich. There are no les than 129 entries for the tour, 47 of which are Austin Sevens. And in the trial, there are 42 entries, 25 of which are Austin Sevens.
But not a single Minor is entered in either class.
This makes no sense, as a few years ago we managed to turn out ten or eleven Minors for LCES events. Remember, all of these cars are pre-1931 and all in standard, unmodified trim - so we're not talking trials specials here.
What's going on???
Let's see if we can get SOME entries in the LCES Summer Rally - 23rd June, near Salisbury, Wilts.

This illustrated report just in from this weekend's Light Car Welsh from David Hinds:
"Just arrived home from the event. Fortunately it heralded the first two days of springlike weather we have had, although there was still snow at the roadside along several parts of the rally route.
After your last posting, Alan Webber from Southampton entered in his recently acquired 1930 M type. This was his first real outing in the car, unfortunately he suffered clutch problems fairly early on in Saturday’s rally. However at lunch on Sunday he obtained a wealth of advice regarding adjustment, ingress of gearbox oil etc. from Geoff Moore, myself and others. Hopefully he will soon have the matter sorted.
The rally was well supported with a good varieties of entry but, unfortunately because of several of the Edwardians not starting, the trial was mainly a procession of A7s. Overall it was an excellent weekend enjoyed by those in attendance."
This is the late Wally McCormack's M.
