Hi,

I am setting up a OHC morris Dynamo in my lathe. What current should I set the dynamo at with the lathe running at 1200 RPM I have initially set it up at 1A

Does anyone one have the actual value.

There are a couple of detailed articles on assembling, setting up, testing and troubleshooting our three-brush dynamos in the Members' Area of the website - taken from VMR Magazines M 127 and 128. They don't give the current figure you are looking for, but should give you all the info you need to be assured that your dynamo is working as advertised by Mr. Lucas.

Is this for one of Brian's engines, David? I have e-mailed you the articles, since I don't think you have access to them.
