Just thought I would give a warm glow to those who feel the A-Sevens needs to see a Minor's tail pipe occasionally.
I succesfully saw off competition from about sixteen A7's / Chummys at the VSCC driving tests in the New Forest last weekend
I wasn't in it to win but when i acheived a fault free morning, the idea of seeing off the Austin porridge became a real thought. My demonic instinct took over and i focussed all to come in "best in class" for the day.
Ps Thanks Simon for the inspiration.

Clive Hamilton-Gould also won a prize. I must try harder next time and go round the cones the correct way.

I just uploadeds the results to the LCES website at
http://www.vintagelightcar.com
Colin got Best Light Car (327 points lost) and Clive came in 3rd in class to win a First Class Award (356 points).
Simon was down the results sheet a bit (538), and Bev Hicks brought up the rear with a massive 1,238 penalty points.

There is an old Scottish saying - Better to have 1238 penalty points than not to have entered!!. Highlander.

And an old English saying - better to enter a Morris Minor than a Bullnose in Driving Tests.
