Hi
I was wondering if anyone could help, clearing out my Fathers (deceased) garage I came accross a Kopalapso roof frame. it has all of the iron work and securing clips and most of the wood (not good enough to use but good for patterns). Trying to find out what it is off and hopefully it may be of use to someone looking for one. The only cars I can find on internet that used them were Rolls Royce or pre war Minors (or variants of) I don't think it is wide enough for a Rolls.

Re: Kopalapso Convertable roof
This doesn't look like a Minor one. but the Kopalapso was also fitted to the Morris Cowley saloon as well and so perehaps it came from one of these c1929/30

Welcome to the Forum, Stewart.
Looking at the clamps and wooden peak, it looks like this was fitted to a car with a tourer windscreen. The clamping mechanism for the folding head on the Minor saloon is very different. So might it be from a cabriolet of some sort?

Stewart,
Probably too late, but I think that I could make good use of this for a Special project if it's still available.
Paul.
