I think Tony should be the "Minor" secret weapon in the Lewis and Nicholson - it may be the only way the Minors will ever win!
Jowett were working on a Jupiter R4 model when they went bust, I thought this was a flat four like the Javelin and Jupiter models but it had a lighter body and plans were to follow the LeMans succes of the Juipter with this car. I don't know if any survive. There seems such a stark difference between the simplicity Bradford flat twins and the complexity of the flat fours. There was a Jowett 10 made in the late thirties which was a flat four so the Javelin was not the first 4 cylinder venture for them.
Toby - there is quite an active forum on the Jowett car club web site this might be a good place for your spares http://www.jowett.org
