According to the Schedule of Spare Parts, the single tie rod radiator, nickel shell and "MORRIS" radiator script were changed to the double tie rod chrome shell radiator at chassis M14465. VG's chassis number is M14258. I know that the chassis number of these changes are quite vague, but VG has a radiator with a single tie rod. The core is glued into the chrome shell with some sort of grey goop, where I think solder was originally.
I'm thinking, therefore, that it might have had its nickel shell changed for a chrome one at some point in the distant past - perhaps to make it look more 'modern'.
So I'm looking for a good nickel shell (and 'MORRIS' script) so I can swap out the chrome one currently fitted.
I don't suppose anyone has such a shell (and/or the "MORRIS script") surplus to requirements?!
