Re: Gear Noise
The drive quality has improved a lot in my car and the gear noise is gone,
even the 1st and 2nd are smooth , I would highly recommend to replace the gears,
I was lucky that the gears supplied by Ian Harris were from a car which must have
not done many miles.

Miniature Morris Minor Tourer
A few days back I chanced upon a miniature model of a Morris Minor Tourer on ebay, an exact copy of my car, and was tempted to buy it, so much so that in my excitement I ended up winning the auction, and was repenting the amount I had to pay . Here is the link to the auction. http://www.ebay.co.uk/i...

Re: Gear Noise
Ian,
Thanks !!
I am going to replace the gears only and use the same box that came with the car.
Now I shall wait for the shipment to arrive from the UK, and then update on the progress.

My next project for 2012 is another British car, its a 1948 Rover P3 75 6 Light saloon. The car is missing many parts and the sourcing of spares from GB has already started, the car would be delivered to me in a couple of months , I have seen the car and lot needs to be done. Re: Gear Noise
I would'nt replace the 3 speed gear box with 4 speed , so I will wait for spare gears or a complete gear box to turn up. meanwhile I think it would be a good idea to drive the minor on shorter spells to run in the gears and to replace the gear oil, which I think is not upto the mark. also as Philip ...
