SV manifold
A good SV manifold for sale. One of many bits dad has accumulated over the years, no apparent cracks. I'll get a photo tonight. No idea what its worth so make me an offer.
I'll put more of the surplus bits on here over time so that they can be made use of rather then gathering dust.

After I realized the coil to points wire was shorting out on the advance/retard linkage, it fired up second turn of the handle!!!

Re: RT 8431
Did you get my message Highlander? I was having internet problems so it might not have got through. The good news, It fired up and ran for a few seconds tonight, until I had to kill the ignition as oil was pouring out the camshaft lube pipe, I'd forgotton to tighten the bolt . I'm pretty certa...

Re: RT 8431
Ok, I will get a Pressure guage sorted at the weekend, I might nick the one off our tractor for the time being. As for getting a permanent one, all the ones I seem to be able to find, including the one Ian linked to, are 2" in diameter. Does anyone know where I can get a period looking (not too...
Re: RT 8431
If I loosen the screws, it moves a little more freely, but still wont return to the base position. I tried the oil in the bores and it made a great difference. It fired pretty much immediately. However I'm worried that that there is something seriously wrong with the engine. It is very very stiff to...

Oil pressure gauge
Hi
RT8431 is missing its oil pressure gauge. Currently I just have a bolt in the end of the pipe to stop it pumping oil out, bu I'm looking for a replacement gauge. What sort of scale should I be looking for?
Thanks

Re: RT 8431
Well, had it going for about 5 seconds tonight, but just wouldn't keep running. I think the carb is the problem, the plunger is quite stiff when fitted, but slides nicely when removed. I think a spare carb may be the way to go as the pivot for the mixture lever has been broken off a some point as we...

Prop shaft fibre coupling.
Hi
I was wondering if anyone has a spare fibre coupling for a '32 family 8 any where. We can get a new one but they are quite expensive and I'm trying to do it on a fairly limited budget.
Thanks
Andrew
