Pre event shakedown done today.....

ie, dragged MT out of the garage and drove to a local small show and back..... about 35 miles i guess..... no issues, apart from an odd vibration at about 65...!!...!

Mmm, i sense a blast on the saturday coming on........... would be in a modern 'if' i can make it..... won;t know til the day though!

Ian, would it be ok to send our entry out with mum...??? or is that too late.... i don;t think i'm gonna be ab;e to attend on the saturday, i'm having tow car trouble.... and don;t wanna do two trips on the land rover due to about 15mpg!!!

I should know, but is there a spigot bearing in the flywheel..??? If so, maybe that's had it, and the inopt shaft is then able to move too much.... Ian, that may have been the issue with the Semi-sports, and the new bearing is maybe masking the other issues, assuming there is a spigot bearing of cou...

Ian, re the fabric, I personally wouldn't touch it with shoe/boot polish, whilst that would work on leather, the vinyl won't absorb anything from it like the leather would, I'm pretty sure it would just end up smeary....... I would use a purpose made modern vinyl cleaner on a hidden area to see what...

Doesn;t even look like the plugs have ever been out Ian.......!! not many cars get to be found in the same state as they left the factory, you best take a few hundred pictures for future reference.....!!

Sounds great Ian,.... i reckon you should go through it, check and grease everything, replace a few obvious bits, inc fabric couplings.... and then use it............ however, that said, you wouldn;t want to ruin it by putting too many miles on it......... if it went to italy and back, it didn;t see...
