I am currently watching the ice road truck drivers taking on what must be some of the worlds toughest roads in the mountains of india..... which leads me to say, that only in india could you get away with driving half a car down the road, with three people on board.... with what must be pretty usele...

Nice to see some progress though Ian, good to hear that it span over ok, and with oil pressure... mind you, a blockage to the head would increase the reading..... 65 psi on cranking would be far more than expected... so there must be a blockage somewhere.......... I would be more impatient than you,...

Horse hair can still be bought new, not the cheapest product, but original.... and it can also be washed, but drying it can take quite a while.... as it ends up matted... if you an find an upholsterer with a 'carding machine' thats another option, although extremely dusty.... also, be aware that the...

Ian, the turn buckle holes aren't there to be used as turn buckles, they are there simply to let the air out of the seat when you sit on it, otherwise with the carhyde being air tight, its basically a giant whoopy cushion...........!! And as far as restoration goes, you're the only one that can make...

More fool them for paying £125 for an hr Ian.... i would have sat outside and watched the cars leave, and been better off for seeing all the car actually being driven..... well, those that didn't arrive on trailers!!!!

I was using a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder on Tuesday, when it snagged in what I was cutting, and the grinder ended up going into my left forearm......... The result is I'm off work for 3 months, had micro surgery to repair tendons and muscles on Wednesday morning, thankfully (if you can be) I can still...

Ian, i have a set of car skates.......... they're fine so long as the surface you're pushing the car on is smooth........... and i mean SMOOTH..... my concrete garage floor isn;t flat enough, and it becomes very hard work!!!!!!!!!!!

Does 300 miles in one day to visit Prescott and take part in the VMR annual run contiburte as a long distance drive... it certainly felt like it when i got home that night..!!!

Well, i only ever really intended doing the sunday part of this event, so i had spent the preceeding week fitting a towbar to my Land rover 90.... and then borrowed a trailer on friday eve, loaded the car up on sat afternoon, and did a quick test drive.... well, i've never been so shocked at how bad...
