Vintage Minor Register

Hi Ian , There is a 28 Minor MM1266 advertised on Gumtree.com.au , strangely this is a body my father and i made in the 70s in NZ i brought the car to oz in the 80s and removed the body and sold it to Ian Hancock Central coast NSW. Sorry i cannot post a photo here

My 1930 Minor M24068 turned 90 on the 1st of this month, It was built between 29th April- 1st of May and was dispatched to NZ on the 7th,
It was bought by Henry Berry of Kaupokoniu, Taranaki, Nth Island on 4th August.

Hi Ian,

What do you make of this Morris guarantee? It looks like 1930 Minor chassis number but the sold date is 1932.

Surely it wouldn't have taken 2 years to sell? Your thoughts?

y516 was the oldest car at an all British day at Newcastle today

Just returned from the 20th National Rally held at Warrnambool, Victoria. Four Minors turned up and all completed a 70 mile run on Saturday. Smiths shocks arrived today, Excellent as they were only sent a week ago, seems someone was working over the christmas period.

Thanks Ian for posting the photos for me, Fitted 4 new tyres last week and have booked it in for seats and hood to be made early Jan. Have had two bumper bars made with two grooves milled into them then had the ends rolled and they are at the platers now.
