The tasks of maintaining
or restoring a vintage Minor would be very much more difficult were it
not for
the fact that the Minor
shares almost all of its mechanics with the M Type MG,
and it is the M Type that
is so comprehensively supported by Mike Dowley and Sports & Vintage
Motors Ltd.
In recognition of our custom,
Mike has generously supported the our Summer Rallies with financial sponsorship
and in 2003 donated a Cup
to be awarded annually to the member who has done most
to return his or her vintage
Minor to the open road.
