The owner at that time was Lionel White, who still lives in Gosport. After Lionel restored the car, he sold it in 1971 to a chap in Salisbury, but there the trail went cold until it turned up again in 2007, which is when Roger bought it, but he left the VMR last year as tempus fugit took over, which is why the car is now for sale.
The chassis number is M11720, which was laid down at Cowley on 25th July 1929.
The car is in need of considerable TLC, but at this price it represents excellent value and Light Car potential.
