Car in excellent condition, but not run for a while. Previous owner to Robert was James Albert Thorpe, 6 Kenwood Ave., Manchester. There is a story that the car was originally owned by the owner of a large country house, and bequeathed to the gardener. Dennis also reports that it was owned at one time by the Historic Motor Hire Co. Ltd. (now defunct) and was used in various film and TV productions. He reports that an auctioneer claimed that it had been kept on a larger estate and was the head gardener's company car"
