front axle

Post by Frank van Voorst »

My front axle is slightly bent. The advantage is that my minor will always direct me to the nearest pub on the right hand side of the road. However, I rather like to have it straight. Does anyone know a place where this can be done (possibly in NL Halbe?)? Or alternatively does anyone have a better one for sale?

I went to MG workshop with my diff and gearbox already, Thijs has also seen the front axle. I like to know if people have solved the same problem before... :D

I found the front axle on the Bed-Pan to be bent and it was straightened by a commercial vehicle chassis repair shop in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Perhaps a bit too far to send yours, but you may find a similar establishment near to you.

If you don't have the Morris Motors service sheet that covers front axle straightening, I can send you a copy - you will need it for the dimensions.
