wheels

Post by Frank van Voorst »

This is what my wheels look like. They are 18' wheels from a 1934 car and because these don't fit at 6 stud hubs the previous owner has drilled some aditional wholes (one size fits all). Is it worthwile to restore these wheels or should I be on the lookout for a second hand set of correct wheels? Where does one go for wheel restauration? Halbe suggested the spokesman.

Frank,

The Spokesman is a good contact for spokes, but you'd also need new 19" rims, and probably new hubs too, so as 19" Magna wheels are not too hard to source, I'd look out for a set. I'd be happy to place a Wanted ad for you. If you can't find any, then you could do something with the set you have.

Does anyone know a good source of new 19" rims for Minors?

Ian,

Could you place a wanted add for the wheels for me? I need a handbrake lever that suits my car as well and two headlamps.

Frank,

I'll place an ad for wheels and handbrake.

Here are your headlamps:
