The vendor is factoring in the perceived value of the registration number - GBP 3,500, plus GBP 4,250 for the car. I don't understand why vendors don't understanfd that vintage car pricing doesn't work like this.
It is a great pity that John Smith sold this car on eBay two yearsa ago before alerting the VMR that it was for sale. The current vendor is the brother of the chap who bought it from John.
We lost the opportunity to get this good car into the right hands.
