The Hundred Pound Minor's 80th Anniversary

Amid the host of anniversaries coming up this year, we should perhaps not forget this one. Although the motoring press got a sneak peek at the Hundred Pound 2-seater - the first SV Minor - in the closing weeks of 1930, it was at the Stuart & Ardern New Year's Eve bash in London where the prototype was wheeled onto the dance floor to make its first public debut.

That was 80 years ago this coming New Year's Eve.

So if you own one of these cars, consider using it as your transport to your New Year's Eve party, or at least take it to one of the many New Year's Day pub meets the next morning.

Any excuse for a party. :D
