Battery isolator switches

I have recently fitted a battery isolator switch on the Semi-sports because it is required for shipping and is also a very good idea. I bought a type which bolts between the battery earth post and the battery earth lead without modification. I had it fitted within five minutes of it arriving in the mail and am very impressed. A slight turn of the knob and the battery is isolated - or the knob can be removed completely for security.

Identical units are currently being offered on eBay by a vendor who is offering quantity discounts, and the one-off price is only $3-49.
