1934 (1932) SV Saloon for Sale

Post by Simon »

On Car & Clasic.co.uk there is a 1934 SV Saloon posing as a 1932 model. It does not look as if it has an MOT- no rear reflectors and only one stop/tail light. No price given.

Doesn't even say it's got amodern V5... let alone an mot...... as a side note, as i suspect it won;t have brake lights, does it actually need two rear lights for an mot...... weren't some of them made with just the one rear lamp...........

I think you do need two rear lamps - brakes or not. That's what I have on my Semi-sports - but I haven't had an MoT yet! Must get one for VMR 2009/VSCC 75.

I believe that all were originally one rear light on number plate/no brake lights. The law requiring rear lights and brake lights, including specific positions is one of the few retrospective motoring laws, ie it applied to cars manufactured prior to the laws introduction. Yes, I know I should get out more but nurse says I'm not ready!
if it's got wheels or chips - it'll cost you dear
