The best laid plans ...

Post by Ian Grace »

... of Minors and men.

The final delivery of colour toner and cover card for M 132 was delivered today from HP by Fedex to VMR HQ - after they tried to deliver it to the wrong address last Friday. The printing of the pages was successfully completed on the Register's new Canon GP 200S last night and everything was set to complete the cover printing, remaining collating, stapling, enveloping, labeling and packing tonight so that a friend could hand carry them on his flight to London from Seattle tomorrow.

However, there is another winter storm coming, and he has decided to head out this afternoon to the airport and stay there overnight to be sure of catching his flight home for Christmas.

So, the UK Magazines will now be posted to Bev Hicks tomorrow and he will post them on as usual, so they are now unlikely to arrive with members before Christmas, but should arrive some time between Christmas and the New Year.

Has anyone received their magazine yet? No sign of anything here.

It is in transit to Bev - should be in the UK post system shortly. It got delayed this end because the valley here was flooded and cut off for four days - no post got in or out.
