Vintage Minor Register

The centre rod is an odd size - something like 9/32" I think, which can be difficult to source (at least it was in Grand Rapids when I rebuilt the Semi-sports). But it is the same diameter as the ignition advance/retard rod, and I had a spare one of those that had a damaged end, so I ended up making the new bonnet rod from that.

I found that a 1/4" brazing rod fitted, well fitted mine!

You are correct, it is 9/32". I sourced it alright, but had to buy a 3m length! I now have 3x75cm lengths spare, if anyone wants one!!
