There are, unfortunately, many sad people about who will do anything to put a dateless number on their grotesque Chelsea Tractors.....which is why it seems that almost all our heritage of correct numbers on our pre-war cars has disappeared.

Probably one of those cases where the owner tries to add the value of the vehicle to the value of the number to come up with a sale price...
