Mike Stubbings has emailed these pics to me which were taken at the Alton Show on Sunday 28th September. Is the owner or the car known to the register. Lovely looking vehicle. Another 33 Tourer with a one piece screen - was this an option or a later mod?
Does anyone know this car? (KFF 165)

Well, we might have done if some sod hadn't robbed the car of its identity.

Is KFF an age related plate then?

Hi All, This car was in very nice condition.Saw the car arriving at Alton show but was unable to get to driver in time. Went back several times during the time I was there but to no avail. Mike

Chris, as far as I know the tourers were all supposed to have onepiece screens except the 34 models. PS I am still looking for a split for my 34 tourer.....
if it's got wheels or chips - it'll cost you dear

Chris,
Yes, sadly KFF is one of the Swansea replacement numbers from a little while ago. In this country, no Minor would have reached the "K" s in any series. Most were two letter and max four numbers. Some busy areas like say, Surrey, were issuing late Minors with numbers such as BPB and three letters whereas Reading were still running on an RD series with four numbers right into the Morris Eight days. "FF" by the way was a Merioneth registration which ended with the "HFF" series sometime in 1963.
I must really get out more !
