MG chassis plate

Post by Toby »

Any MG nuts who can help? Sold a VA saloon last year and a YA & YB saloon this year from my Dads collection of unfinished projects, the guy who had every opportunity to check over the y types before buying but came with the money and couldn't wait to get them loaded and away, without checking what was there, is now complaining because the YA bulkhead plates were missing and is giving me top grief! Have found the one with chassis No. and sent it but he says there should be 3 plates and we've diddled him. I have found another plate with body No. and type. I think the YA buyer will say it's his even it's not and if it belongs to the VA I want it to go to the VA owner! The plate says Body type B281 and body No. MG 56/151. any ideas? :?
if it's got wheels or chips - it'll cost you dear

Toby,

Contact Bob Clare - MG Car Club at 100570.2213@compuserve.com. He's the MMM Registrar but is very knowledgeable and if he doesn’t know the answers, he will know a man who does.

Trying to find time to call you - not successful yet!
