Vintage Minor Register

Would anyone have a speedometer retaining spring to spare ? I am sure it would be possible to make one but I have never discovered how this is done.

Sam, I have one of these ready to fit to my panel when it comes back from Patrick Henry - and when I find a speedo for it! I would be happy to have it used as a pattern if you can find a spring company that would make some up. Anybody else need one?
