YAY>>>>>... take a look at the listing now... he's totally changed it...!!!

SO, finally if someone buys it they will kind of know that it's not original....... i still doubt they'll realise that the engine is from a reliant robin though..LOL!!! I wonder if the 4th wheel will slow it down!!!LOL!!

It is back on e-bay and the opening bid has been reduced to £2000. I was not aware that Morris Motors had a hand in the design of the Reliant Robin engine. I thought that it was based on the Austin 7 originally. Which side would the car be on if it was entered for the Lewis-Nicholson trophy ??????

I enjoyed his quote about it being re-advertised because it generated a lot of interest! How about being honest and saying it is being re-advertised because he asked too much in the first instance! Find it here:

Oh Dear! Despite all the interest it once again failed to meet the reserve. Why would anyone not want the de luxe version I wonder?

This car is now for sale in Classic Car Weekly at £3495 ono. I'll post a copy of the ad later, but it would appear that a big dose of realism has taken hold as he concedes that the engine is not original 'hence the price'. The original eBay ad was spotted on 26th April and so he has been 'at it' for a good couple of months. I wonder if he knows that there are are at least 15 other Minors for sale at the moment?
