The Salmon Special

Post by ashford »

Does anybody have any info or images of the Salmon special. This was a morris based special built in 1933. It had an amilcar body, Salmson front axle, Alvis 12/50 engine, Bugatti gearbox, Talbot brakes and modified ford rear axle. This posting slightly relates to Ian Judds posting on the trimple M forum, "How can you improve the handling of an M - type chassis".
The Salmon brother's solution was to use the morris chassis upside down so that it had underslung front and rear axles!
