1933 saloon on eBay

Post by Ian Grace »

Here's another one coming out of the woodwork.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... EF:GB:1123

Hydraulic brakes and nasty telescopics but the interior looks lovely (apart from that carpet!).

Very reasonable starting bid, too, if that mets the reserve.

I have traced the vendor's telephone number so will give him a call.

I keep calling on the 1932 2-seater that popped up and then disappeared - but the vendor has his mobile turned off. I'm writing to him.

interesting to see it's got the glove compartments, my 33 model saloon doesn't have these. My MG VA had telescopics fitted- not very original but very easy to have repaired or replaced, a practical mod?
if it's got wheels or chips - it'll cost you dear

The car unfortunately did not attract one bid. Too high a start probably.
