Best you sell the Minor and buy a white Sunbeam Talbot Alpine, Halbe or are you now calling yourself Cary Grant?

Grace Kelly would not want to be seen in a Minor Saloon!  But I heard she had a soft spot for a little Brown Tourer!

What about the over-restored example's of the two ladies at madame Tussaud's :P
Anyway let stick to the topic, we're wandering off

Hi Halbe,
I think the owner of WE6554 can now safely be called 'Wind up Whittle'

but Halbe, wandering off is such fun! A commodity that this world is sadly lacking!

To get back onto Topic........

One make car clubs are famous for 'Rivet Counting' and decrying someone for chroming to many items etc! Old cars should be fun, once people think they are saving the Elgin Marbles for the nation, it gets a bit silly!

Quite right - I have had more fun on the open road in scruffy dogs of old cars than with 'correct' ones. But that's not to say that we shouldn't try to save the 1% of survivors if we can, and bring them back to some semblance of their original state where possible and practical.
