A friend is trying to sort out some details on a late (November) 1932 SV Minor. This one has come with the long radiator (I thought it was a 1933 feature) .
Can anyone send me a picture of the front valence which went beneath this type of radiator please ?
My email is s_christie04@yahoo.co.uk
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Look at Toby's saloon under 'My Minors' on the 'Our Cars' thread. This is the '33 season front valence, also correct therefore for late 1932 calendar cars.
Do I have your friend's car on the Register?

Ian, this is perfect. My friend's car is to some extent in kit form but needless to say I will be drawing my his attention to the Register. Many thanks.

Thanks Sam, and glad to be of some help. I think the Cooke Group (0116 288 1234) may be able to supply one of these valences for your friend.
Could I have chassis number and registration details for your friend's car?
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
By the way, I have a new (Whiting) M Rotax panel and studs available if you know of anyone who needs one, plus a pair of early swan neck headlamp supports. Located UK.

Re: Late 1932 SV Minor Front valence
I converted my 1933 long radiator minor to a 1932 short radiator. I prefered the look. My 1933 valence (same as Tobys) looks OK with the short rad - however if anyone has a 1931/2 valence spare I would like to hear from them. Alister.
Re: Late 1932 SV Minor Front valence
Likewise - I'd call the Cooke Group. I'm also going to need a '32 valence form my McEvoy at some stage. if the Cooke Group cannot supply, or are wildly expensive, we may be able to commission a batch within the VMR, although quantity discount is unlikely to be dramatic on such an item.

I had a new flat type valance but sold it to chris neale, he may not have used it yet if you need a pattern for new ones.
if it's got wheels or chips - it'll cost you dear

You would be far better off getting a small batch made....they will stand a chance of fitting properly then !!!
