Following a slight mishap 
during the Prewar Vintage Minor Welland Rally today, we are in need of a new engine. If anyone has one for sale, we would be really interested in hearing from you as we want to be back motoring in Minnie asap

Oh no!
That is bad luck.
I will include a Wanted advert in the July Newsletter, but that won't be out for a couple of weeks.
Is there a chance that it is just a big end? If so, the rod could be replaced from underneath. How bad is the engine?

We are taking the engine out on Sunday as it's the first time the three of us are all available, so we'll know more then. We were never sure how good the engine was but thought we'd use it first and take the risk and have had 300 great miles in her.
We have someone lined up to help us rebuild the engine so I'll post an update when we've surveyed the damage on Sunday.
We are determined to be back in action in time for PWP. The Minors need to beat the Austins in the rally on the Sunday
