On the move. New meet in the new forest?

Post by Toby »

It looks like we may be moving to the Lymington/Christchurch area later this year. When this happens I would like to see if I can get a VMR/EMS noggin or regular meet going in the New Forest Area. Anyone interested if we do :? ?

Anyone up for a semi-regular meet at either Wooton, just off the B3058 on the south side of the New Forest or Burley, between the A35 and A31? Any other ideas? Spring is coming....

Toby, My friend who also lives in Everton, is having lunch with us half way from Everton/Epsom which is Four Oaks. I t seems there are two good pubs in the town. I could make Four Oaks but New Forrest too far for a pub meet. What do the southern boys think? Highlander.

Where is Four Oaks ? If it's between Everton and Epsom, should be around my way somewhere, but not heard of it !
A local meet would be good. Happy New Year everybody.

Ditto 4 oaks! where is it?! I wouldn't like to impinge on the Hatchgate meet and it might be nice to be able to do an evening meet in the summer.

Ah, right. Know it well. Sounds a good venue to me. Let me know dates etc.

Sounds good to me. Probably best to avoid the published dates for the other three meets, as it might detract - if not the posters here, then others probably.

A summer evening meet may be the solution? What pub exactly?

Sounds do-able but a different date would be a good idea as it's towards the Hatchgate! Drive it day would be a good day? April 23rd ish normally.

Hi Toby,

The other pub meets, including the Hatchgate are already scheduled for Drive-It Day 2009!

Once you settle on a pub and date, I'll add the particulars to this page.

Toby,

I'll put something on the website - it should reach a wider readership than the Forum.

Sun, 20th April is bad for us, any other dates to suit a majority? Saturdays are not good for Mrs T but if necessary...
