The Sunday before is Easter. Sunday 3rd May? All Ok for me. Who else is comming? Highlander. 3rd Burns'supper this week!! Big one tomorrow night and a Grand one Saturday night. By now I could die for cornbeef, egg and chips!!! Highlander.

I have emailed the windmill inn at four marks to see if they have any issues with us turning up and whether we need to book for eating. Their website has an old photo with late '20s cars in it! serendipity? The watercress line is there so this may be good for the future if the pub checks out and it's not too far to get to! It is at the Surrey end of hants but lets give it a go. Still looking for a meet in the forest or Dorset as well..... any takers or are there only a handful of roadworthy minors in the club :lol:

Yes, excellent news - thanks Simon. If we get a few more, how about a short trip along to the nearby Watercress line after lunch? They days will be lengthening nicely, so why not take advantage of the afternoon if the weather is fine.

Will check it out and maybe do the watercress line on a 2nd visit! Paul at the windmill says...

we'd be happy for you to come but advance booking for lunch is advisable.
