Although my father, Peter has been a VMR member for some years, since he bought (and subsequently sold) an M-Type Midget, he has not owned a Minor.

He & I have shared a 1971 1275cc MG Midget since 2019, and have been looking for a Minor on & off for a few years.

Our ad in the VMR newsletter didn't bring us anything until we spotted Paul Hiden's 1932 SV 2 seater for sale in May.

It seemed to fit the bill, and after a visit to Worcestershire, we agreed to buy LV 1008.

Peter is having a lot of fun in the Minor, I'm still earning the ropes as my experience with crash boxes and centre accelerators is more limited.

Morning Trelawny, and thanks for starting another Our Cars thread - always of interest to everyone.

The 2-seater looks spot on - Hartfords, Bowden brakes, good Dunlops - should provide many good miles. All set for our 2023 Summer Rally!
