The following culled from the Hereford Austin 7 Club's November newsletter. In all, six Austin 7's and a couple of larger Austins arrived at Inkberrow, Worcestershire from across Herefordshire:

Many thanks to Frank for organising the excellent late season club run to Inkberrow.
Although this event preceded the clocks change - we still had to set-off in the dark in
order to join the starting line-up on-time at the Wood Shed in Eastnor. Unfortunately, a
combination of heavy overnight rain, feeble headlights and leaving later than planned -
led us at ‘speed’ into several patches of indiscernible floodwater. The consequence of
which, was an impressive tidal wave of water that rose above the front of the car and
flowed alarmingly back along the bonnet to find it’s way over the windscreen and onto
our laps. Heather was not impressed!

Nevertheless, after a scrumptious cooked breakfast and drying-out in the warm
surroundings of The Feathers in Ledbury – the sun came-up, the rain stopped and we
joined the others for a lovely run through the lanes to Inkberrow. Here, we joined (and
even outnumbered) the Vintage Minor Register gathering at The Old Bull for lunch and later
enjoyed a leisurely return journey in fine weather.
