Chassis Register milestone

Post by Ian Grace »

As of today, the number of surviving SV Minors listed in the Chassis Register hit the 700 mark. This is quite an impressive number, but the rate of unearthing new cars suggests that the true number of survivors is very probably well into four figures worldwide.

But we have chassis numbers recorded for just 373 of these cars, so nearly half of the owners are future members!

The situation with OHC Minors is slightly more healthy, with a total of 475 known survivors, and 371 chassis numbers recorded - that's approaching 80%.

So we now have 1,073 surviving Minors recorded, but clearly have a great deal of work to expand the known data for these cars and their owners.

As for M Types, we have chassis numbers recorded for 364, out of a total of 438 known survivors, so about 83% with known chassis numbers.
