Vintage Minor Register

Stuart Cooke, who is nearing the completion of his restoration of the prototype Morris Minor McEvoy Special RC 300 has acquired this fascinating radiator shell which appears to have originally been fitted to an Avon Special Morris Minor. I have no record of such a car, although the Avon Company of Warwick are known to have bodied Austin 7's and other chassis.

Does anyone have any reference to Avon Special Minors? It appears that at least three were built!
