1934 SV Morris Minor Saloon DG 8657 (34/MS/42866). Royal Blue with black mudguards, matching numbers, opening windscreen, all working gauges, period trafficators, hydraulic brakes, robust 4 speed part synchro gearbox, modern pedal configuration, VSCC eligible. Purchased nearly 7 years ago, as a body off restoration during which £2,000 was spent refurbishing interior. Since then, I have had the engine professionally rebuilt including; head and block skimmed and de-lime scaled, new pistons/rings /valves and springs, etc. New petrol pump/fabric couplings/ two new 6v batteries for increased cranking amps, re-metaled thrust bearing and oil lip seal fitted, oil pump and dynamo refurbished. Starts, stops and runs well. No leaks or drips. Looking to sell to a practical enthusiast who will capitalise on my expenditure and continue to take ‘DouG’ forward over the next 14 years, to be in fine fettle to celebrate his ‘100th’ Birthday!
