An early notification that the Ausineers will be celebrating the Centenary of the Austin Seven in 2022. The are holding a week-long rally based at the Fire Service College, Moreton-in-Marsh from 18th to 24th July 2022. It is hoped to gather 750 to 1,000 Sevens.
Since Moreton-in-Marsh is relatively close to Prescott and given that PWP 2020 will take place over the weekend immediately preceding the Rally, we are working to link the two events, such that the Seven will be the featured marque at PWP 2022.
Next June, the featured marque at PWP 2020 will be Alvis, as we mark the Centenary of the start of Alvis production. As for 2021, I'm open to mark any other Centenary - any suggestions anyone?
As we work our way through the 2020's, there will be many more Centenaries to celebrate from the 1920's, not least of which will be our OWN Centenary in 2028, which will be upon us before we know it! Dare we hope that we can gather 100 Minors in 2028?! Now THAT would be a sight to see!
