What is the biggest size for SV Pistons

Hi all,

I rebuilding a SV Morris minor and have found the engine has a large step in the bores and looks fairly warn. so i think the best plan is to re-bore the engine. The engine is currently +40 does anyone know what size the SV minor can be bored out to (Can it go to +60).

Also do the OHV pistons fit in the SV minor?

If any one has any suitable pistons or knows where i can get then it would be much appreciated.

You can definitely go to +60 if that will clear the damage. If not you can sleeve and bore the sleeve to +40.

Mike Dowley has pistons - OHC same as SV, fortunately for SV owners!
