Ah, Triumph Herald - my first car back in 1976. White, 1968, VMF 480G. Now long gone to the crusher, I'm sure. Gearbox packed up, sills rotted out so I swapped it for a 1937 Morris 8 tourer - a fateful acquisition if ever there was one. The tourer suffered from chassis cracking (the Wolseley 10 OHV engine probably had something to do with this) so it went after a short while. I then advertised in Exchange & Mart for another one and I had a letter from a chap in Chesterfield. He didn't have a Morris 8, but would I be interested in a 1932 Morris Minor? The rest, as they say, is history!
